UI/UX Design Case Study:
Enhancing the Cardano Website
As a UI/UX Designer, I collaborated with Cardano, a leading investment management company, to enhance their website. Working closely with a UX designer and a product manager, my role was to produce the overall look and feel of the website while creating reusable modules and a cohesive design system.
Company Background:
Cardano is a prominent investment management firm specializing in risk and investment management services. Renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to providing tailored financial solutions, Cardano serves a diverse range of clients, including pension funds and insurance companies.
Project Scope:
The primary objectives of this project were to enhance Cardano's website by improving its visual design, functionality, and user experience. The specific goals included:
Enhance the Website’s Look and Feel: Create a modern, visually appealing design that reflects Cardano’s brand identity and values. Design a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate.
Develop Reusable Modules: Design and develop reusable modules to ensure consistency across the website. Simplify the content management process by enabling easy updates and maintenance through these modules.
Create a Cohesive Design System: Establish a comprehensive design system that includes UI components, style guides, and design principles. Ensure visual and functional consistency throughout the website, enhancing the overall user experience.
Role:
As a UI/UX Designer, I worked with a UX designer and a product manager to enhance Cardano’s website. My responsibilities included developing the website's look and feel to align with Cardano’s brand, designing a user-friendly interface, and creating reusable modules for consistency and easy updates. I also developed a design system with UI components and a style guide to ensure visual consistency across the site. Additionally, I collaborated with the UX designer to incorporate user research findings into the design and worked with the product manager to meet business objectives and user needs. Through these efforts, I helped create a modern, user-friendly website that supports Cardano’s mission and improves the user experience.
