UI/UX Design Case Study: Streamlining Dashboard for a Major Advertising Company
As a UI/UX Designer, I participated in a project for a major advertising company to streamline their dashboard, which was aimed at simplifying tasks and eliminating duplicate efforts worldwide. I collaborated closely with another UX designer, participating as a viewer in UX research sessions. Together, we assessed the needs based on the research findings, regrouped to analyze the data, and iterated on the design solutions to address the identified issues. This collaborative effort ensured that the final design was both user-centered and effective in meeting the project goals.
Project Overview
Company Background:
The project was undertaken for a major advertising agency renowned for purchasing campaign space across various media platforms. This agency specializes in strategic media buying, ensuring that their clients' advertisements reach the right audiences at the right times. With a global presence and a vast portfolio of high-profile clients, the agency is a key player in the advertising industry, driving impactful and effective advertising campaigns worldwide. Their expertise in media buying allows them to optimize campaign performance, delivering maximum value and visibility for their clients.
Project Scope:
The primary goal of this project was to streamline the process of managing advertising campaigns by simplifying the user experience and integrating tasks that were previously handled outside the dashboard into a unified platform.
This involved:
Simplifying Task Management: Redesigning the dashboard to provide a more intuitive and efficient way for users to manage their advertising campaigns, reducing complexity and enhancing usability.
Integrating External Tasks: Consolidating tasks and functions that were previously performed outside the dashboard into a single, cohesive interface, thereby eliminating the need for users to switch between different tools and platforms.
By achieving these objectives, the project aimed to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of campaign management for the advertising agency, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for all users.
